Bloggers United 2

With the obvious success of the first Bloggers United held last May, it wasn’t a surprise that a second installment was put up and just like the first, I had to attend. Bloggers United 2 , which was held last Saturday, was definitely bigger and better, with more bloggers selling their wares, and a lot more readers flocking to buy from and of course, interact with their favorite fashion bloggers. Here’s what happened.

My take on the lumberjack gone dapper. Or at least I’d like to think so. The flannel shirt, quilted vest and work boots give off that rugged, outdoorsman vibe while the blackwatch pattern of the shirt and the yellow striped socks keep things preppy and at the same time, add color to the look. Here’s what I wore:

  • Blackwatch plaid flannel shirt-Brooks Brothers
  • Brown quilted vest-Zara
  • Khaki chinos-Ralph Lauren
  • Brown braided leather belt-Ralph Lauren
  • Yellow/navy striped socks-Archaeology Powerplant

Arrived at the bazaar at around 1pm, my apologies for the photos, lighting wasn’t exactly at its best.

The line was around five times longer compared to last year’s Bloggers United.

Thankfully, I was actually able to leave with something unlike last time. Here’s what I got from Bloggers United 2.

I bought this khaki cap from David’s booth. Call me weird but I actually bought it cause of the stains in the back. It gave it a nice worn, vintage feel which added some character to it.

Here’s what was inside the Nivea goody bag I won from the Bring Me game.

The day was very much well spent, had lots of fun meeting new bloggers and catching up with old ones , oh, and I actually bought something this time. Thanks to the organizers of Bloggers United 2, the bloggers who participated and the readers who came, the event was a success! Is it too much to ask for a Bloggers United 3? Here’s hoping.
